Superior SOSA Aligned / OpenVPX & Specialty Chassis Solutions
Pixus Technologies provides the core infrastructure that prime contractors need to solve their most complex embedded computing challenges. We integrate exceptionally reliable hardware into mission-critical programs, from first design and thermal simulation to full subsystem integration.
Today, our global presence includes manufacturing across North America, Europe, and Asia, supported by dedicated sales teams worldwide.
The performance of your system depends on the integrity of its architecture. Our leadership team pioneered some of the industry's earliest and most successful AdvancedTCA, MicroTCA, CompactPCI, and VME designs, helping to establish the modern COTS ecosystem. Today, we apply our vast experience to every system we build.
Pixus Technologies is an established leader in the Modular Open Systems Approach (MOSA) and an Associate Member of the SOSA™ Consortium. We are trusted to engineer SOSA-aligned enclosure and backplane systems that protect vital hardware for the world’s most critical military and aerospace programs.
We provide a broad portfolio of chassis platforms, high speed backplanes, chassis managers, and specialty boards to meet the requirements of your program across modern and legacy systems.
Chassis Platforms
A complete line of MIL rugged and COTS enclosures including ATRs, 19” rackmount, desktop, and custom formats.
High Speed Backplanes
Pixus is the leader in high-performance SOSA aligned, OpenVPX, and SpaceVPX designs. We also support VNX+, VME, CompactPCI/cPCI Serial, AdvancedTCA, MicroTCA, and custom form factors.
Chassis Managers & Specialty Boards
OpenVPX/SOSA aligned Tier 3 Chassis Managers in multiple form factors.
Legacy Support
Continued development and sustainment for CompactPCI and VME/64x platforms.
Every program has specific technical requirements. Our broad product portfolio means we often have a proven, COTS solution that meets your needs. But for applications where COTS doesn’t fit, we can modify our proven designs to meet your form, fit, and function you require. A modified standard solution delivers the reliable hardware you need without the cost, risk, or lead time of a full custom build.
We think of our engineering team as an extension of your team, working hand-in-hand with you to develop creative design solutions and make your project a success. With direct access to our knowledgeable team, problems get solved faster and your project stays on schedule.
Pixus Technologies is ISO 9001:2015 certified and our quality management system is compliant with AS9100. Every project is managed through a rigorous, process-driven workflow to deliver hardware you can trust in the most demanding conditions.
We are proud to stand out in the industry for being approachable and refreshingly direct. We are a team of technical experts dedicated to solving challenges and getting your program off the ground.
